Welcome, and how to train with this course
What Strength Foundations covers, what you need, and how to pace the twelve weeks.
Welcome to Strength Foundations. Before you touch a bar, watch this short orientation - it explains how the course is sequenced and why the order matters more than the exercises.
What you need
A barbell and plates are ideal, but the first three lessons work with a kettlebell, a loaded backpack, or nothing at all. The patterns come first; the loading comes later. If your gym access is inconsistent, that’s fine - the program is written around missed days, not ruined by them.
How to pace it
Take one lesson at a time and practice it for at least two sessions before moving on. The course is deliberately short on volume and long on attention: five focused reps teach more than fifty distracted ones.
Strength is a skill before it is a quality. Skills are built with attention, and attention is built with restraint.
When you’re ready, move to the bracing lesson. It’s the one everything else stands on.
